Assistant Professor
Dr. Jeannine Gerhardt received a master in Biochemistry from Friedrich Schiller University (Jena, Germany) and a doctorate in Molecular Biology from Ludwig Maximilian University (Munich, Germany). She conducted her post-doctoral training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and worked as Instructor at the Albert-Einstein College of Medicine before being appointed as Assistant Professor of Stem Cell Biology in the Center for Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Jeannine research program is focused on DNA replication and genomic stability in human cells, in particular in stem cells and cells with a predisposition for cancer.
